2 Year Term:

Kristi Kivett
184 High Lake Drive
Statesville, NC 28677

Kristi and her husband Nick purchased their home in October of 2018. You might know the house as the “Frank Lloyd Wright House” or the house that the Shroen’s built. It was the first and only house they looked at as they fell in love with it and the neighborhood immediately!  Nick is the Project Manager for Hydac North America in Denver, NC. They have been married for almost 17 years and have 2 beautiful daughters: Jordan and Summer.  Their first grandchild, Crew Alexander, was born in April 2021 and he already loves being on the lake, the boat, and the neighborhood island.

Kristi has been a Regional Manager with The Onin Group for over 13 years and oversees 15 branches in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.  She has been in the Recruiting Industry for 29 years with a CSP Certification from the American Staffing Association and a CTS Certification from the National Association of Personnel Services.  Before joining The Onin Group, she was the President of The Mulberry Group until their acquisition by The Onin Group in 2007.

Kristi has enjoyed serving on the Harbor Watch Board of Directors for the last 2 years in the role of Member at Large and Secretary.  She was instrumental in researching, beta testing and implementing our new website and believes that as our community continues to grow, technology needs to grow with it.  She also served for several years on both the North Carolina Association of Staffing Professionals and the South Carolina Association of Staffing Professionals.  She served several terms as Treasurer before being elected as President-Elect and then going on to serve as President.  During her tenure, the association was instrumental in advocating on behalf of the staffing industry in front of the state legislature and state agencies.

“Servant Leadership” has been the guiding principle for Kristi and her hope is to serve Harbor Watch with integrity, fairness and considering the best interest of the entire community.  She has served on the Social Committee at Harbor Watch since 2018 and has enjoyed meeting her neighbors and serving in a capacity that brings neighbors together. She would work toward more enhancing communication, community involvement, maintaining the essential character of the neighborhood; but also understanding that change is inevitable for growth.  Kristi looks forward to serving the Harbor Watch community!
